In this episode Lorne talks with Marc Coleman about the formation of his company, UNLEASH. Marc shares the challenges he saw in the Human Relations field and the need for HR to get back to its roots and recognize the critical role that HR plays in business.

In this show, Marc Coleman notes: “The best people in HR do not come from HR backgrounds. For example, the new head of HR at the Deutsche Bank does not have an HR background.” He suggests “There needs to be a new vision for HR. HR is the most important part of a business. HR needs to get back to its roots.” Marc explains that’s why we founded UNLEASH. “HR is at our core. We are telling great stories of how people are unleashing the best in their people to create the most value.” Marc notes that in a company you cannot let money override your concern for people. In the end, money is not the thing that makes you happy. For Marc travel and family make him happy in life.
